A special thank you to Familius for the review copy of Thankful Animals, Thankful Me. This is a first-concept board book that introduces thankfulness by giving little ones an example of how animals are thankful for their surroundings. "A bug is thankful for a leaf, a sea star for its coral reef. A hawk is thankful for the sky, a piglet for a muddy sty." On the last page children are asked what they are thankful for. A board book that's bound to be a conversation starter with little ones and an all-round favorite for family members, one of my favorite pages is the one with the penguins. The glow of the sun in the background and the pastel peaks of the snow are gorgeous!
