New to board book format, The Little Farm is one of our household favorites along with Lois Lenski's other adventure classics with Farmer Small such as The Little Train, The Little Fire Engine, and The Little Sailboat. As Farmer Small goes through his morning chores of feeding the horses, the pigs, the chickens, ducks, and milking the cows, Farmer Small shows how important his job is. Our two year old loves this book and always wants to listen to it multiple times. And of course, any book with tractors is interesting to our five year old, even in board book format.
