Thank you to Holiday House for sending me a copy of Jack's House! Like so many truck-themed board books Jack's House is full of a variety of construction vehicles and their rumbling, beeping, roaring sounds. What is unique about Jack's House however is that readers get to see Jack's architectural blueprint of his house and then follow along with the steps needed to complete the house. Full of vibrant illustrations and everyone's favorite big yellow digger and big yellow dump truck, what I like most about Jack's House is that it shows Jack drawing his design as well as helping to build. Both excellent abilities to encourage children to explore!
