Thank you to author Laura Sassi for sending me a copy of My Tender Heart Bible. This 26 page board book is full of old and new testament quotes and references followed by a "heart moment" at the bottom of each page, which encourages reflection and thankfulness. Here's an example of a heart moment: "Lord, thank you for letting us be part of Your plan. What can I do to help others?"
A perfect board book for all-year-round use, My Tender Heart Bible is a bit lengthy for a board book, but fortunately I don't think parents will feel the need to read the whole book in one sitting. I particularly loved the above illustration and applaud Laura Sassi for making these bible stories accessible to little ones.
