It's here! Construction Site Gets a Fright is Sherri Duskey Rinker and AG Ford's new Halloween-themed board book and it's spooktacularly delightful. While these trucks don't trick-or-treat, they're dressed up and full of the Halloween spirit. But beware, some spooky things start happening on the lot, and even trucks get scared.
Crane Truck fears he sees a monster, Dump Truck frets he sees a witch, Bulldozer is sure he sees something horrifying twice his size, Skid Steer hears something squeak and creak, and Cement Mixer sees a ghost! Not to worry though, the ghost is only Excavator, and all of the other scary-looking things turn out to be not so scary after all. With nothing to fear the trucks share their stories with smiles and laughter.
It was an eventful night for the construction team, and a very happy, happy Halloween.
