Thank you to Chronicle Books for sending me a copy of Snap! Chomp Your Jaws! which will be released on August 17th. A Pull and snap book, children can pull a tab down that has an elastic feel to it that snaps back into place---adding to the experience of each animal's mouth opening and snapping shut. As a lion roars, a gorilla slurps, a crocodile carries its young carefully in its mouth, a hippo shows its teeth, and a shark comps on its prey, children will love watching each animal open and close its mouth followed by, I'd hope, lots of loud and silly animal sounds!
