A long overdue post but here it is! Amicus Publishing generously shared these two copies with me and they are absolute gems. Written in rhyme, Little Penguin and Little Zebra follow a young animal as it ventures out to explore its environment. With thick, cardboard pages and full-page illustrations, both board books provide children with a way of looking at the world through the eyes of a growing creature who -- like little ones -- is also discovering new things and overcoming new challenges. Both books have an energetic pace and a playful, melodic tone. Other board books in the Little Animal Friends series include: Little Panda, Little Hippo, Little Monkey, and Little Tiger. Both titles will be released on March 2nd 2021.
