A board book that I've been meaning to feature, 10 Little Tractors is a counting board book for every tractor-loving little one. My son was particularly obsessed with vehicle board books when he was a toddler and if 10 Little Tractors had been out when he was in his toddler years, I think it would have been a favorite. As the ten tractors set out for a hard day on the farm they'll soon encounter some obstacles. Here's an excerpt from the first page: "Ten little tractors ready for the day. Shift into gear---Brummm! Now they're on their way. Ten little tractors polished to a shine. One gets a flat---Pshhhh! Now there are nine." The pattern of elimination continues until the last tractor heads into the barn to rejoin the nine.

With a vintage tractor feel to it -- reminiscent of Otis -- 10 Little Tractors is bound to be a board book classic for years to come.
