For those who are familiar with the Flora series -- Flora and the Flamingo, Flora and the Penguin, etc., author Molly Idle's latest publication will not disappoint. With lively illustrations and no text, Flora and the Chicks is so entertaining. From detailed illustrations to witty facial expressions, you and your little one will be smiling and laughing from start to finish. And while the book is meant to encourage children to count the number of chicks that are hatching, I think children will enjoy the artistry and humor of the book the most.

Should you and your child decide to count however, the book does a very nice job of making the numerical digit standout on each page.
