First off, I have to apologize for the picture quality. We are in the midst of moving and my camera is still packed away along with most of N's board books. However, I figured it was more important to get something up on the blog, since I've done a terrible job of keeping it up this past week, than worry about the picture. This board book is also very old, (my mom used to read it to me when I was little) so its faded pages aren't helping the attractiveness of the photo either!
In any case, Puppy Too Small is an adorable story, not so much for its illustrations, but for its message. The story of a puppy who thinks he's too small to make a difference, Puppy finally realizes that there are things that he can do to help those around him -- like pull a wagon full of bunnies, or dig a hole big enough for a chipmunk to store his acorns, or fix the leg of a table, or carry his grandmother's sewing basket. Puppy may be small, but he is just the right size!
