Recently released in board book format, Adventures with Barefoot Critters by Teagan White is a medley of fun to-do's for kids. While each page follows the pattern of the alphabet -- it is an alphabet book after all -- I find each page to be a delight to read, unlike some alphabet books which follow the predictable "A is for Apple, B is for Ball..." format.
With seasonal adventure ideas, children will love to look closely at the illustrations and be inspired to build their own bridge, float boats, skate on ice, fly a kite, have a picnic etc..
As I'm always looking for new ideas of things to do with our toddler, Adventures with Barefoot Critters has not only given me some, but will continue to pique the interest of our son as he discovers new adventure ideas.
