Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type

Click, Clack, Moo Cows that Type by Doreen Cronin

I actually wasn't very familiar with Click, Clack, Moo Cows That Type until recently. An exceptionally creative and witty book, Click, Clack Moo is the story of a band of cows who demand warm, electric blankets by typing to Farmer Brown.

Dear Farmer Brown,

The barn is very cold at night.

We'd like some electric blankets.

Sincerely,

The Cows.

Farmer Brown, astonished to see the message from the cows, writes back with a firm "No way!" But the cows don't like that response. No electric blankets. No milk!

Soon the chickens hear of the cows demands for electric blankets and they too want in. No electric blankets -- no milk, no eggs.

But Farmer Brown will not budge. Finally, the cows propose an exchange. The typewriter for electric blankets. The only thing Farmer Brown has to do is leave the blankets outside and Duck will deliver the typewriter. And so Farmer Brown leaves out the blankets. But the typewriter never makes it...the ducks have their own requests.

Dear Farmer Brown,

The pond is quite boring.

We'd like a diving board.

Sincerely,

The Ducks

A book that will keep little ones engaged till the end, Click Clack Moo will also leave you with the famous "Click, Clack Moo, Click, Clack, Moo, Click, Clack, Moo" line stuck in your head.
